Heroes Hole

The 5th Annual Richard M. Catapano Jr. Memorial Golf Outing—a milestone year in carrying forward Richie’s legacy of community, support, and remembrance. Central to this tradition is our Heroes Hole, a space dedicated to honoring and remembering first responders we’ve tragically lost to suicide.

What began as a moment of reflection has grown into a symbol of resilience, solidarity, and hope. The Heroes Hole reminds us that behind every badge and uniform is a person courageous, selfless, yet not immune to the invisible struggles of mental health.

For our fifth year, we are expanding this tribute also to recognize the organizations and advocates who stand on the front lines of first responder wellness. These groups provide critical resources through direct support, advocacy, training, and awareness programs. Their work ensures that the men and women who protect us never have to fight their battles alone.

This year, as we gather on the course, we not only honor those we’ve lost but also celebrate the dedicated individuals and organizations making a lasting difference. The Heroes Hole stands as a testament to our shared commitment: to break the silence, to support one another, and to ensure no hero is ever left behind.
